Four steps, four bottles, one calm child. The order our formulas were written for.
Warm water, a palmful of chamomile shampoo, and let the rattle cup keep small hands busy while you rinse.
Chamomile Shampoo →One bottle for hair and body on nights when patience is short — the 2-in-1 rinses clean without a second lather.
2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash →A few sprays on damp hair and the comb slides through — no pulling, no protest, no crunchy residue.
Detangling Lotion →Honey and argan lotion while the skin is still warm from the bath — the step that makes pajamas smell like childhood.
Honey & Argan Lotion →Our shampoo caps double as rattles — a small idea that keeps small hands busy through the rinse and has turned bath time into a game for generations.
Tear-free, hypoallergenic and paraben-free across the range — chamomile, honey, oats and shea butter do the work harsh chemistry used to.
Most families meet the golden bottle through a mother or an abuela, not a commercial — and tens of thousands of public ratings keep the tradition honest.

Soothes delicate skin and coaxes out natural golden highlights — the flower the brand is built on.
A natural humectant that leaves hair soft and skin comfortable after every wash.
The backbone of the Curls & Waves line — moisture and definition without stiffness.
Paired with honey in our body lotion to smooth and protect baby skin.
A calming, softly scented wash for the most delicate evenings.
The organic extract behind Bio-Pure — shine and strength with no sulfates or silicones.
We build baby care the way grandmothers taught us to: around chamomile, honey and patience. Every formula is tear-free and hypoallergenic, every bottle is made to fit into a real evening routine, and every cap that rattles is a reminder that care can also be fun. If a product cannot be gentle, useful and a little bit joyful at once, it does not get to wear the name.
Notes from families who made the golden bottle part of the routine.
“This is the same yellow bottle my mom used on me, and now the smell of chamomile means bath time in our house too. My daughter shakes the rattle cap the entire time and forgets to complain about the rinse.”
Mariana G. — Houston, TX
“We tried three "gentle" shampoos that still made my son rub his eyes. This one actually is tear-free. The three-pack lasts us months and the bottles never end up half-used in a drawer.”
Ashley R. — Phoenix, AZ
“The curls line is the first kids’ product that defined my daughter’s waves without making them crunchy. Taking one star only because I wish the defining cream came in a bigger jar — we go through it fast.”
Carmen V. — San Diego, CA
“The detangling spray ended our morning fights. A few sprays, the comb goes through, nobody cries — including me. It smells like the shampoo, so her hair is chamomile all day.”
Brittany K. — Orlando, FL
“I bought the honey and argan lotion for the baby and now the whole family uses it. It sinks in fast, no greasy film, and the smell is warm without being perfumey.”
Lucía M. — Chicago, IL
“The 2-in-1 wash is our weeknight shortcut — hair and body in one pass and the tub isn’t slippery afterwards. The gel is good too, just start with less than you think you need.”
Denise W. — Dallas, TX
Welcome to Ricitos de Oro. Our name means “golden curls,” and everything we make starts from the same place it always has: chamomile, the gentle flower that soothes delicate skin and coaxes out the natural golden highlights in baby hair. From that single ingredient grew a full routine — shampoos, washes, lotions, styling and wipes — every piece of it tear-free and hypoallergenic.
Today the family has three branches. The chamomile classics carry the tradition, the Curls & Waves line brings shea butter to curly-headed kids, and the nourishing side of the house pairs honey with argan, oats with vanilla, and organic green grape extract in our Bio-Pure formula.
A baby product that can only be used occasionally is a product that was not finished. Everything we sell is written for the daily routine: formulas that will not sting eyes, will not dry skin with repeated use, and rinse clean without residue. No parabens across the range — and in Bio-Pure, no sulfates or silicones either.
| Collection | Best For | Signature Products |
|---|---|---|
| Chamomile Care | The everyday bath and morning routine | Chamomile shampoo with rattle cup, 2-in-1 wash, styling gel, detangling spray, wipes |
| Curls & Waves | Curly and wavy kids’ hair | Shea butter shampoo, curl conditioner, defining cream, detangler spray |
| Nourish & Shine | Skin care and richer formulas | Honey & argan lotion, oats & vanilla wash, Bio-Pure shampoo |
Somewhere along the way we noticed that the hardest part of washing a baby’s hair is not the washing — it is the wriggling. So we made the cap a toy. The rattle cup on our shampoo bottles keeps small hands busy and small tempers even, and it has quietly become the thing adults remember about us decades later.
“Golden care for little curls” is not a slogan we retire between campaigns — it is the brief for every new formula, from the century-old chamomile classic to the newest Bio-Pure bottle.
Star averages only mean something at scale. Three of our classics carry public totals in the thousands — here is our own reading of what such a number can and cannot measure.
4.6 average from 4,468 ratings
Four and a half thousand ratings on a baby shampoo measure one thing above all: repeat purchases. Nobody rates the third bottle of something that stung their child’s eyes. What the average cannot tell you is how your baby will take to the rattle cup - some shake it for the whole bath, some ignore it entirely.
4.4 average from 3,244 ratings
A styling gel for children collects ratings on two fronts: whether the hold survives a school day and whether the scalp survives the gel. Three thousand ratings is a long enough test for both. What no score settles is how much product a given head of hair needs - that dial you find yourself, a pea at a time.
4.7 average from 2,600 ratings
When a formula this old carries a 4.7, the number is mostly a verdict on consistency - parents who used it as children are checking whether it is still the shampoo they remember. A rating cannot smell the honey for you, though, and scent is half of why people stay loyal to this bottle.
